You did all of that in one day?
I remember years ago I would get so frustrated that I hadn’t completed all the tasks I had on my to-do list.
And, it actually worked against me…
I was demotivating myself daily and didn’t know why I wasn’t motivated to keep working on certain days. Everything seemed to go into a big hole without any mileage or real productivity.
One day my daughter, Naomi, asked me what I did that day and I listed off some things.
Here response, “Mom, you did all of that in one day? How?”
I thought she was kidding since I “knew” I wasn’t productive with anything.
After a brief “wake up” conversation with her I realized I had, for years, putting a week’s worth of tasks in my day!
It was no wonder that I didn’t feel productive and I felt frazzled with everything I needed to do.
Are YOU putting too much in your day and it’s becoming self-defeating…it’s a great saboteur to expect a lot more from yourself daily or, feel as I did, I didn’t get much done.
I often thought if only I had someone telling me that years earlier, I could have been on such a strong momentum wave of productivity.
