What My 7-Year-Old Grandson Taught Me About Leading Your Brand

There’s something about the clarity of children that always amazes me.

They don’t overthink. They don’t second-guess. They just know what matters to them—and they take action.

Most recently, my daughter told me a story that stopped me in my tracks.

My 7-year-old grandson, Braden, was so excited to get home and see his older cousin. These cousins are incredibly close. They laugh, they play, they bicker—and then they love each other again just as fast.

On this particular day, my daughter was running a little behind schedule to go to the airport, and Braden didn’t like that one bit.

He looked at her and said, “Mom, we have to be on time.”

And then he did something remarkable—he helped.
