I love brilliant marketing when I see it!

I was taking a nice long morning “power walk” and ended it with a healthy drink from Whole Foods.

I saw this large flyer outside their store along the walkway promoting a Cheese Night.

You may be wondering why I think this is brilliant marketing?

Because it hits several emotional & mental touch-points for their customer.

The Anatomy of Whole Food’s Client Engagement Touch Points:
Created a Cheese Night for their customers – anticipation and fun
Gave all the vital information in one large flyer posted outside the store along the walkway – immediate understanding
Let their customers know there was no cost – offering a gift
Learning/Interactive with Cheese Experts – socializing & eating
Sensitive to dairy allergies, i.e. using Sheep Milk Cheeses – company is listening
An International selection from France to Croatia to the U.S. – anticipation and fun.
What are ways that Whole Foods might leverage this customer-engagement event further?

If you guessed wine pairings, congratulations!

Plus, are there any major holidays coming up where people would want to eat or cook with cheese? Yes, 4th of July events.
