Shifting Realities: From Inner Doubt to Manifested Dreams

There’s something undeniably magical about Morro Bay.

It’s my sanctuary, my creative haven, where the rhythm of the waves sync up with the ebb and flow of my thoughts. Whenever I need to tap into that deeper well of inspiration and book writing, I sequester myself here, retreating to my favorite coffee shop.

The coffee is just $2.50, the employees greet me with genuine warmth, and the lush outdoor garden feels like a slice of paradise. All I do is think, write, read, write and then think some more.

This place, I lovingly call “Ruthie Heaven.”

This morning, while lost in my usual routine of reflection and writing, I noticed a woman nearby, scribbling intently in her notebook. We exchanged a few words. She shared she was journaling, trying to untangle the thoughts swirling in her mind.

As I headed back inside to buy a slice of their delectable gluten-free coffee cake, I asked her on a whim if she’d like anything—it was on me. She paused, considering the offer, then smiled and said, “Thank you, but I would love to have five minutes of your time instead!”

Her response caught me off guard, but I was intrigued. As we spoke, she revealed her feelings of loneliness and her desire for deeper connections—someone to share meals with, go to the movies, or simply take a walk around the neighborhood. She was seeking companionship and connection in a world that often feels isolating.

In that moment, I imagined holding a magic wand and, with a playful flourish, asked her, “I have a magic wand here. What is it you want to happen?” We laughed as I waved the imaginary wand, and through this simple act, she began to see a pattern. She realized she had been living in the past, weighed down by regrets and doubts.

I gently asked her if she would like to write a new story—one filled with her deepest desires and fueled by the memories of all the times she had manifested what she wanted. As this idea took root, a smile spread across her face, and I could feel her energy shift.

In that moment, she stepped into the Miracle Field of what is possible.

Later, as I took my usual walk along the bay, I found myself reflecting on our conversation. I realized it was time for me to rewrite my story as well. I, too, had been standing at a crossroads, questioning what I truly wanted from the next chapter of my life.

So now, I pose this question to you:

Are you ready and willing to write a new story
for the next chapter of your life?

As I shared with the lovely woman in the garden, there’s the Reality of Earth School, where we experience the tangible—sights, sounds, and feelings. This is where self-doubt and feelings of failure can emerge, casting shadows on our path. But there’s also the Reality of Manifestation, just on the other side of the Veil, where all things begin with a thought.

Whether it’s your book, your new relationship, your baby, or your TEDx talk—everything is created in the Manifestation Reality of Thought.

Here’s a simple comparison:

Earth School Reality:

“I’m lonely.”

“Who do I think I am to write a book?”

“I’m a failure.”

Manifestation of Thought Reality:

“I want/can meet people and have fun.”

“There’s a book in me, and I can do it!”

“I’m exactly where I need to be.”

If you’re ready to turn your thoughts around from self-doubt to manifestation, take that first step and grab a spot here. Let’s start rewriting your story today.
